Zaynab is a beautiful thirty-something Pakistani, Muslim, lesbian in Chicago. She takes care of her recently widowed TV-obsessed mother who is trying desperately to find Zaynab a husband. As Zaynab begins a new relationship and starts falling for Alma, a bold and very bright Chicana woman, she searches for her identity in life, love and Lucha-style wrestling. Who will win out for Zaynab’s attention...Mother? Alma? Both? Or neither? Signature Move is part sports movie, part culture clash, and entirely entertaining.
