It’s the Eighties: dirty magazines, horror on VHS, no gender identity, no female/male definition, there is love and the refusal to love, conquests and failures, anger and laughter, freshness and spontaneity, all the things that make being a kid both exhilarating and scary. This is the context in which we meet Robin and her new friends, and even a new love interest or two. But how and where does Robin fit in? Trevor Anderson's first feature is a unique and charming coming-of-age film with a nostalgic 80’s aesthetic.
