Three lives in disarray: Selma and Sinan are frustrated with each other and their marriage while their son, Umut, is trying to figure out who he is. Umut is a water polo player, a gentle & quiet high school senior, and trying to live his life in a complicated world. When a fellow player spreads a rumor that Umut is gay, he refuses to comment on the private matter. Umut’s insistent refusal spirals into something uncontrollable, and one day he disappears. As Selma and Sinan’s relationship disintegrates, they search for their son, ultimately realizing they are lost themselves. Facing an uncertain future, they all must come to terms with not knowing any of life’s answers.
